Covid-19 might be putting a damper on your business, but it doesn’t have to. Those of you who take advantage of the tools that are available can use this “downtime” to help your Facebook business page come out swinging!
So, what can you be doing right now?
Take this time to revamp your business page!
- Your Cover Photo: When was the last time you changed your cover photo? Time to shake it up folks! Highlight a new service or two. Think about creating a video using photos. Not a graphic artist? Cannot afford to hire one, it’s easy with the free version of Adobe Spark!
- Add or update your FAQ: Did you know that when people contact your page through Messenger you can have a lot of your most commonly asked questions answered using a FAQ? To set it up, go to your page’s “inbox” and look for the “automated responses” option. Once there, look for the “FAQ” and add in the answers to questions that can be answered quickly. This is a time saver for you – and your potential customers will be thrilled to get their answers fast!
- Keep posting consistently: Customers like to know they can count on you. Keep fresh content on your Facebook page and in your groups. Struggling to think of topics? Use any downtime you have to make a list of different topics you can use on your page. Consider visiting other pages like yours and using ideas you get there to develop this list. Your best use of time is developing evergreen content like educational and tip type posts. These you can use over and over again without them getting stale.
- Create some branded “posters” for your page: Visuals grab viewer’s attention. When promoting your products and services on your Facebook business page, include a branded poster image on that post. You can use Adobe Spark or Canva to create these as well. Or talk to your graphic’s person to create some for you (Hey! We might even be able to help you – just ask!)
